Our industrial HVAC projects make spaces hygienic, functional and pleasant. We provide ventilation, air conditioning, (dust) extraction and balance the air in labs and cleanrooms.
CO2 reduction
Alternative energy sources such as electricity, hydrogen, biogas ... have an important role to play. Like our advanced energy recovery technologies. With our specific know-how, we do our bit to reduce CO2 emissions worldwide.

Callens
Where it all began
Callens was born out of its founder’s, Willy Callens, entrepreneurial mindset/drive. With his knowledge of central heating, he provided private individuals with an a-to-z service and grew the company into a successful business, employing more than 20 people.
Willy had an eye for new opportunities and, a few years later, he chanced his luck on the industrial market. An instant hit! Callens became the benchmark for industrial players with all sorts of heating requirements.
What happened next?
In 2003 the second generation took over the helm. Under their wings, the company grew into an impressive SME with more than 250 employees and a project portfolio to dream about.
Where we are now
These days, we can call Callens a market leader in the most powerful and energy-efficient heating and air technology systems. In doing so, we help industry to remain competitive and to attain the European sustainability objectives by reducing CO2 emissions or reducing them to 0.
Callens-Vyncke
Where it all began
Callens-Vyncke is a joint venture between family businesses Callens and Vyncke, founded in 2010. At the time, the parent companies first put their weight behind an innovative project, for AB InBev. The result was a a combined heat and power (CHP) system bursting with nifty engineering. The tone was set and Callens-Vyncke henceforth continued as CHP specialist.
Where we are now
Meanwhile, the expertise of the Callens-Vyncke crew has reached new heights. Integrated solutions with a broad array of techniques are the cornerstone of the joint venture. Callens-Vyncke loves nothing better than industry challenging it to make the impossible possible. Throughout Europe.
Optimum by Callens
Optimum may be the youngest member of the Callens Group, but not when it comes to experience. For 25 years now, the originally Dutch Optimum – at the time still Optimum Environmental Technologies – has been offering cutting-edge technology that cannot be found elsewhere. Because founder Niels Rozendaal invented it himself. He turned his thermal incineration and heat recovery solutions into a success by always putting the client, and not the product, first.
In 2007, a joint customer brought Optimum and Callens together. Several successful projects in tandem later, the collaboration became an official one. In 2018, Optimum joined the Callens Group. Niels Rozendaal continues to star in the story, now as the Group’s Chief Technology Officer. Optimum’s solutions can be found all over the world.
